Commercial Disputes, Insolvency & Construction Lawyer

Rostron Carlyle Lawyers continues to grow, and we are seeking a talented and motivated lawyer with 3-7 years’ post-qualification experience to join our Commercial Disputes, Insolvency and Construction practice.

We’re seeking someone with:

• Strong experience in commercial disputes – essential

• Insolvency experience – highly regarded

• Construction law experience – highly regarded

This role is ideal for an enthusiastic team player, enjoys taking ownership, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves. You’ll work closely with partners, mentor junior lawyers and contribute to a dynamic, collaborative team culture.

 

Key responsibilities

Commercial Disputes

• Drafting correspondence and court documents

• Advising clients on litigation procedure and strategy

• Supervising and mentoring junior team members

• Briefing and instructing counsel

Insolvency

• Preparing creditors’ statutory demands and bankruptcy notices

• Preparing and appearing in creditors’ petitions and sequestration proceedings

• Advising debtors on available insolvency options

• Advising liquidators and bankruptcy trustees on recovery actions

Construction

• Front-end work for owners, developers, builders and subcontractors – drafting and advising on contracts and neighbour agreements

• Back-end work resolving disputes for owners, developers, builders and subcontractors
