Chloe Parsons-Pope is a skilled litigator and corporate lawyer, with experience in commercial litigation, regulatory and disciplinary disputes and investigations, financial services regulatory, banking and finance, government, in-house and class actions, having worked in various mid-tier firms.

Chloe mainly acts for company directors, corporations, SMEs, seed and angel investors, fund managers, medical professionals, pharmaceutical executives and government departments.

She holds of the position of 2026 to 2027 Councillor of the Queensland Law Society, Member of QLS Finance and Risk Committee, Member of the QLS Professional Conduct Committee, QLS Equity and Diversity Committee and services on the Law Council of Australia’s Young Lawyers Committee, BAQ Equal Opportunity and Diversity Committee, the Australian Representative of Queensland Young Lawyers and Member of the Women in Finance QLD Committee.

Chloe Parsons-Pope is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and reads a Master of Laws (LLM) at the University of Melbourne, focused on legal leadership, business advisory, corporate tax and Australian merger law.

Experience

  • Acting for directors, shareholders, liquidators, accountants, professionals and practitioners in complex corporate, shareholder and contractual disputes, including but not limited to Supreme Court applications and injunctions;
  • Appearing in disciplinary and regulatory matters in QCAT and Magistrates Court, and advising government at all levels (including matters of the Commonwealth);
  • Advising boards on governance, directors’ duties, risk frameworks, insolvency, and safe harbour;
  • Advising directors on alleged duty breaches and management of regulatory risk exposure.
  • Acting for major financial-services entities, insurers, funds, exchanges and cryptocurrency; firms on licensing, funds management, AML/CTF transaction monitoring and breach reporting;
  • Advising on compliance with ASIC Act and Corporations Act provisions, ASX and NSX Listing Rules and APRA prudential licensing (APS 222 and CPS 511);
  • Conducting business and family disputes, pre-litigation strategy and commercial resolution; and
  • Acting in and advising on contractual, consumer law and negligence claims across State and Federal Courts.
