Jackson Freeman leads the Criminal Practice Groups at Rostron Carlyle Lawyers. Being of Māori heritage and a graduate of Victoria University of Wellington with Bachelor’s degrees in Law and Arts (Media Studies), Jackson brings a dynamic approach and diverse perspective to his role.
Jackson was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in the High Court of New Zealand in 2017 and as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2020. He is known for his commitment to ensuring his clients receive clear, strategic advice that is easy to understand and not full of unnecessary legalese.
Born in Brisbane and having spent his formative years in New Zealand, Jackson enjoys writing music, spending time outdoors, watching sports (mainly the mighty All Blacks!) and volunteering at his local footy club. He values, above all else, family and cherished time with his partner, niece, and nine nephews. His dedication, legal acumen, and client-focused approach make him an invaluable leader at the firm.
